Diablo 4 Item Upgrades
Items upgrades are upgrade components which can be added to weapons, armors and trinkets in order to increase the value of. They usually come at an increased cost and require the item to be at a certain level.

Glyphs
Once you reach level 50 the action-RPG of Blizzard changes from its simplified campaign to the endgame. After level 50, Diablo 4's action-RPG shifts from its streamlined campaign into the endgame.
Glyphs play a key role in this progression. Increasing a Glyph's upgrade level boosts its stats and its radius of impact on the Paragon Board. There are many methods to gain these upgrades, but the most common is by raiding Faction Crypts.
Glyphs allows you to add symbols to your text. You can select them from the menu at the left side of the screen. It displays glyphs initially in the font that the cursor is placed, but you can view the font in a different style or style, and you can narrow the list of glyphs to a specific subset by selecting an option from the options below the Entire Font (for example, Punctuation displays only punctuation symbols). You can check the CID/GID value as well as the Unicode value of a glyph by moving your mouse.
The Glyphs Panel will keep track of your last 35 glyphs and show them under Recently Used in the first row (you must expand the panel so you can see all 35). You can also clear this list by right-clicking or Control-clicking on a one of the glyphs in the list, and selecting Remove from Recent Glyphs.
The Glyphs Panel also lets users to create a customized set of glyphs. This can be useful if you frequently need to type certain text types. This will help you save the hassle of manually inserting each glyph whenever you require it.
A custom glyph can have up to 30 glyphs. This includes both the base name as well as its suffix. The base name must contain uppercase English alphabetic letters (A-Z) and lowercase English alphabetic letters (a-z), European numbers (0-9) as well as underscore (_) and other glyphs. The suffix can also include ligatures, or contextual alternates. These are special versions that combine two or more letters into one glyph.

Each blueprint has its own icon, and each category of upgradeable item has a different icon:
Some recipes require the use of certain ingredients or appliances that are available by selecting a Franchise Card from the Blueprint Desk. Certain appliances and inputs are staples, meaning that they won't be sold in the Shop or on rerolls while others will have a greater likelihood of appearing if an appropriate franchise card is chosen at the Blueprint Desk. The Staple Pool is where all the items will be for the duration of the game. When purchased from the Blueprint Desk, non-staple equipment is also transferred to the Seed Pool.
Recycled Items
The magic happens when you use the third "R," recycling. You can benefit the environment by recycling a product made of recycled material. Most recycled items are returned to their original manufacturer to be remanufactured as a new item. We call this "closing of the recycling loop."
If someone places something in their recycling bins at the curb, it is taken to a Materials Recovery Facility where it is separated and sorting. Then, item upgrading gets sold on to manufacturers who will re-make the product. Items that are often remade into new products include:
This reduces the necessity to harvest, cultivate or extract raw materials in order to make something other than. In turn, this decreases the amount of damage caused to the natural world; fewer trees are cut down and rivers diverted, and wild animals are displaced. It also reduces the amount of pollution created by the dumped substances into our water, soil and air.

Leveling
